WRITTEN ASSIGNMENT
We have been working on how to tell stories in English. There are many aspects to be considered when telling a good story: tenses, modifiers, details, etc. I have included some links below that may be helpful when writing your next task.
Well, now that you have studied all the links above, you are ready to write your story. You have to write a story (200 words) beginning or ending with one of the sentences below. You have to choose ONLY ONE. Remember to make your story interesting, use a variety of adjectives and adverbs to give details to your story.
1. “She smiled and walked away”.
2. “Simon opened the door and knew immediately he had made a mistake”.
3. “Jakob was absolutely furious when he saw what was going on outside his window”.
AVANZADO A: DEADLINE, Monday, 12th.
AVANZADO B: deadline, Tuesday 13th.
If you have your compositions ready before, I would appreciate if you send them to me asap, as I have to give them back to you that same week, before the exam.

Have you ever wondered how it would be like to be of the opposite sex? Write a for and against essay about this. (200 words).
Revise the structures and expressions to be used when writing a “for and against” eassay.
You need to use conditional structures as seen in class.
If you send the assignment by email, you need to send it as an attachment, DO NOT WRITE YOUR COMPOSITION IN THE EMAIL.

Following the structure we have seen in class, write a for and against essay about being your own boss. (200-225 words).
Remember to organise your information in paragraphs, use appropriate language to your level and also a variety of linkers and connectors.
Your composition needs to be double-spaced and handed in by next Thursday, 24th.

You can either bring me your piece of work to class or email it to me including your name and group on the subject.
